Rear Wheel Lost All Tension

That pdf has max spoke tensions on it.
And as for oil. Anything that is tacky/thick or leaves virtually no residue. I use either linseed oil (which i've run out of) or very light spray oil that only leaves a residue (5-56 or GT85 type stuff). All the wet lubes i've tried have been a pain in the arse, but the spokes turn really really easily
Unless of course, you apply then take most of it off.
Not tried dry lubes yet. Probably not going to bother.
Anti seize spray (or copperslip) also works.
Oh, and the lower tension you have, the more critical i've found it to be. So 11 speed road hubs, idle side, are a pain in the arse!

Yeah, my first one was a 24H straight pull for a mate, shallow (ish) carbon rim. (25mm ish)
That caused some swearing, and i did suggest that 28 would be better. At least on the back.

Well to play safe I checked the front wheel which I built at the same time using the same method and it’s still true and tension balanced. Retensioned the rear wheel and trued it up and we’ll see how it holds this time around, got it just under 120 which is the limit of what the rims are rated to.
