Wanted Rear wheel for Trek mtb

fair enough really, sorry I don't have a spare, I have a hub that could be transplanted but not a full wheel.

the hubs a fairly standard 135mm spaced affair with a centre lock disc. assuming you'd be willing to change to a 6 bolt disc if needed then pretty much any 26" disc wheel will fit. obviously this depends on if you aren't trying to keep the purity and match the wheels. :)

good luck, I'm sure someone on here must have a 26" 135mm OLD disc wheel floating around doing nother.

Can't find a freehub for love nor money ANYWHERE. And I'm not sure I have the skills / ability to replace it anyway. So I'll try more oil.
BUT I'd really prefer a direct swap wheel.

By gum, I do believe the overnight soak has been a success! I can't get it to fail this morning and can hear the pawls clicking nicely when the wheel is spun with the casette is held. Will try it on the bike later on. Fingers crossed...

I spoke too soon (that's me). Failed as soon as the boy applied any pressure - I told him to ride like a midwife, but you know boys...
Going for a replacement wheel. Plenty on the bay for £50-60. But they come minus disc. So using the cassette removal tool will it enable me to swap the disc over? Pictures below.

only if your replacement wheel has the same centre lock arrangement. buy a 6 bolt, and a new disc, it should only cost a few quid.

New bits arrived already. Now, fixing disc to wheel with supplied torx screws - should I use some thread lock? I have some Loctite normal blue.
EDIT: of course, after looking properly I see they already have some, as supplied. Dohh!
