Rear Mech Choice

Hi,

I'm looking for advice on a rear mech in black that is suitable for a shimano 9 speed drivetrain. I'm simply looking for a colour change on my bike from silver to black. The current mech is a 105 5600, a suitable replacement seems to be a 105 5701 mech but is there anything higher up the shimano foodchain, ultegra / dura ace, that will work with 9 speed shifters and is in black?

Nothing wrong with running a 105 black mech...
I'd stick with that and put your money elsewhere.

I'm running a 5500 series rear derailleur on one of my bikes.
I do run higher end parts on other bikes, but sometimes that's all you need.

What's more important to you:
Running a black mech?
Or having Dura Ace written on it?

Microshift is worth a look, they made some nice stuff that can be picked up for reasonable money.
