Anyone had it done?

Argos have quoted me £35 to go from 27.0 (more like 27.1) to 27.2.

Seems a good idea, to me anyway, just wondered if anyone else had had theirs done?

Get youself to your local machine shop/tool hire shop and ask for an adjustable hand reamer, its an easy job!

It's actually a fairly good idea on an old frame as it will clean out the old burrs/corrosion that build up over the years, mean you can use a sensible size seatpost and should ensure that the mild flaring that can happen over time is removed. When you see the price that rare sized posts go for (especially 27.0) £35 doesn't sound too bad. If it's steel then there will still be a fair amount of metal left. Just find out how far down they are going to ream just to make sure you don't shove a 425mm post in to a frame that's only been reamed for a 350mm as that could leave you in a very sticky/stuck situation
