Really Big Steel Colnago Frame

As per title, I'm after a 62cm-64cm steel Colnago frame. Rear OLN needs to be 130.

Retrobike has an active Dutch contingent who are very friendly and speak perfect English. They have set up bike/parts collection network and may help you out.

Why does it have to be a Colnago? ebay has some really nice large De Rosas at the moment.

I think both those Supers will be 126 rear OLN unfortunately. As for the De Rosas, they do look nice...but I'm after a Colnago frame.

You can always cold set a 126mm frame, its easy and fun!

Lewisfoto...tell me more. I've heard of it, but what does it entail? Gios offered to do it for me once on a Torino, but I backed out.

Actually a professional frame builder can do a much better job for about £30 since he will have the right alignment equipment, but for those of you who are a little more brave...

About a third of the way down the above linked page the process is described. I have done it once and had good results using the board technique described. Keep in mind that you are only moving the drops 2mm on each side so subtlety is the key...

Or you can just put a 130 in a 126 as the frame will spring open anyway.

I'm not sure if you can remove any washers on the rear 130mm, but I'm sure one of the "Old Timers" will be able to shed some light on this.
