The actual anodizing in itself shouldn't be too tricky to get done - it's getting it to match with the rest of the stem that would be the hard part!

surely there is someone out there that could reproduce some face plates for these stems.

i know there are a couple of folks on here that do CNC work.

surely a face plate for a stem would be quite easy to reproduce.

obviously getting them annodized is another matter.

Would it be possible to heat treat them somehow so they don't break like these? Maybe we just start with black and silver first The rest of the stem's structure has never been a problem for me.

If someone was able to machine some replacements, would it not be possible to make them slightly thicker (and therefore stronger)..?

Broke my silver one years ago and the rest of it has been hanging round the shed ever since. It is a shame really as it is in absolutely mint condition and now just serves as a paperweight to hold manuals down on the shelf.

I have a red and a black sitting in my house doing nothing as well. If someone could reproduce a stronger face plate that could give hundreds of Zookas all over the world purpose and meaning again!!!

Hell, color matching the anodizing couldn't be as hard as Klein paint code matching and one of our finest figured that out
