Really a Bear Valley?

This is for sale, looks pretty tidy, guys claims it's a Bear Valley but stickers have been removed. Only clue is 'Marin Lite' stem, bottle cage and seat QR in a green colour. Anyone out there able to date this and confirm or deny it's a Bear Valley?
