Real Design brake levers. Missing spacers?

Posting this as it may help someone out. I picked up a pair of Real Design levers that work for both canti and V-brakes. Like most listed for sale on eBay or that you may come across, the plastic "half moon" spacers that plug one of the holes are usually missing as they fall out easily. Solution? Black hot glue

I took some 5/16" wood dowel and put a thin layer of grease on it. I put the dowel in the canti hole that I needed plugged as I'm running V's, then filled with hot glue. I let it set, pulled the dowel then trimmed the excess with a razor blade. The plug/spacer sits in there nice and snug and if needed will pull out easily with a dental pick. I don't see why it shouldn't hold up well but its yet to be tested

So, hole A? In which case, would I need to fill the hole B?

Will it slip out if the other hole isn't filled?
I doubt it but I have not tried. I chose to fill the empty recess to minimize movement with the brake cable end anchor inside the lever. Braking feels nice and crisp. I say fill it if you can, even if its with some sort of putty but hot glue has held up well for me
