I had the full Mani 1 Ti replacement bolts/kit back in the very early 90s. Iirc it was about £800 ! back then but it made the fork crazy light. The Ti stanchions were too flexy so I removed them. Beautiful top quality Ti steerer built to last and low miles. Striations are just surface marks and easily polished off. Has spring ring and steerer length when ‘fitted in’ a crown is 17cm with 46mm of thread.

You can just swop the ends and easily cut a new circlip groove in it. The repros made today sometimes offer this. The star nut should still fit fine as its quality thin wall Ti
