RC36 Evo Pro Class Limited

Retro Newbie
Hi,

Can't believe I've only just found out about this site

After many years of road riding I'm thinking of resurrecting my Orange Vit T2 for some xc fun/racing. I'm thinking of upgrading my front forks which appear to be RC36 Evo Pro Class Limited to something a bit more modern (with remote lock out etc.). Just wondered if the Pace forks are worth anything or if maybe I should just enjoy the bike as is?

I've got the original box, manual, greese gun, all the things the forks came with when I bought them in 1999.

Any advice appreciated.

Many thanks,
James

If they work ok then why change them.....waste of your hard earned money it will be

Oh yeah.....welcome home

Welcome back from the dark side. Get a picture up as soon as you can, Orange's and Pace forks are a match made in heaven, so you'll face resistance on here to changing them!

Orange + Pace it's the law in these parts, mind you I'm a law breaker (see my Clockwork link in my sig!)

You could modernise your Orange or you could do a retro restoration on it, it is your bike to do with what you like!

If you want your forks servicing justbackdated ( http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/profil ... ile&u=1139 ) on here is a expert on all things Pace, he used to work for them and IIRC does the servicing for Pace customers who have the older forks.

If you want to sell your forks you will need to place an advert in the correct section of the forum (mtb for sale) and have a firm price in the ad, if you want to know their value, have a search of the forum (search function near the top of the page) or ask in the 'how much is my xyz worth' thread http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29681

PS welcome back!

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll leave it as it is :)

Where does the time go, couldn't find any digital photos they must all be in an old photo album somewhere.

I'll upload a new photo tomorrow.

The Clockwork's looking nice, mine one from 1991's a bit rustier
