Ok, seeing as entrants seem to be a bit thin on the ground this month, here's my 1961 Claud Butler Super Coureur to make up the numbers, build was last summer and a little off catalogue as I was inspired to go about it from a French angle to match the paint job with an almost completely French set of parts (expt Swiss/Belgian rims & British saddle). Only thing that didn’t sit right (pun intended) was the cheap blue saddle. This has now been corrected with a blue B17 Brooks, very comfortable it is to. Here’s the build thread; '61 Super Coureur
Finished detail photos on page 11.
Definitely my lightest, fastest, best detailed bike so far, the Huret Super Allvit long cage rear mech is sublime……

Entries do seem a bit thin on the ground so to fill out the pack here is my Meral, a bike so French I had to change my name to Alain just to be allowed to ride it. The French theme for this bike was inspired by Peachy's beautiful Claud Butler 61 Super Coureur above and described in more detail in this French bike thread here.
The 1st couple of photo's below are of it after first build and the last one shows the current build with the correct Spidel rear mech and more sensibly coloured crank ring bolts.
I'll chuck one in to make up the numbers. This is the latest reincarnation of this Raleigh 8803, it's been around the block a few times
This is one version no doubt there are others
I bought it about 3-4 years ago as a frameset, this is my take on it which I am happy with, It's a 6207/8 groupset with some NOS parts, Campagnolo seat post and hubs
Just finished the christening ride - final adjustments made, double Colorals in place even the flint catcher is working nicely! IMG_1982 by Glen Plummer, on Flickr IMG_1985 by Glen Plummer, on Flickr
