well done Ian, you got there. Was a close one. Now, how do I initiate a stewards enquiry?
You could always make an enquiry with the Government! they seem to pull the wool over our eyes.

After much thought I do NOT want ''rBoTH winner'' above my name please.

Ian,

Well done. You just scrapped in at the end.

Congrats to everyone else for the high quality of machines. As they say in school nowadays - everyone is a winner (and perhaps in this case it may be true)

+1 :)

Re:

I entirely forgot about this! Which is just as well... pipped at the post. Thanks to anyone who voted Rotrax!

So, well done to Ian. I felt momentum may be with you. And looking at old rBOTMs, I don't think anything pre 1970 AND not Italian has ever one. (Spokesman's '75 Carlton comes closest) That duck needs broken! So at least it was a Raleigh. Not meant in any xenophobic way, I just get tired of the Italian obsession.

And just catching up on all the replies, have to agree with some, a fair bit of waffle in there and little focus on the machines! What "grumpy" Roadking says is a little grumpy, but has a point. I don't always look at rBOTM, and did expect there to be more capacity for information / back story (not that I could offer much) and discussion about the bikes rather than a solitary photo. More like the nominations thread that was up before.

Good fun though. (I admit a tiny thrill seeing the results pop up!)

Re:

Well done Ian , the best of a fine group of bikes . Not one in the lineup that I don't like . That's a first for me , as was my entry
Mike
