Oh my Lord. I always thought Amalgam was a lead toxic tooth filling till there was a discussion about the Dayton. I got edumacated.

An oh so deserved win. On many levels. Rob always strives for what he likes without snobbery, respects past frame builders and keeps his sharp educated eye for them and for what they did and why, and then goes on to do immaculate builds that are always riders in that ridiculous low turn-around time. The man does not have retro limits.

The 1948 Daytona Amalgam bike is absolutely and now officially voted legendry.

I would like to think the vote is as much for the bike as he himself who puts the effort in here. It's indeed justified and well merited.
