On the odd occasions that I enter these, I never know how to vote: putting a dib in for one's own bike is tempting (to avoid the nil point outcome), but bad form. Voting for a rival is a bit dumb. So for better or for worse, I hand my vote over to my firstborn. She's plumped for the Kirk because it is 'sci-fi cool'. And I'd have to agree.
