Not sure which way you will come Rich but I would think you will take the A171 from Whitby to Scarborough so after Whitby there isnt much in the way of shops other than a petrol station up on the moors about half way.

Don't know what your driving at the moment but the A171 is a fantastic road

Nearest café would be Scarborough but I think Si will be in the yellow peril,
He normally has the kettle on as soon as the wheels stop
I should be there for 9:30 and normally have a flask of fresh coffee with me so you won't die of thirst

Has anyone any use for a tatty but useable 1994 Fire Mountain frame? There is a small hole at the back of the seatpost where a stuck post was removed but its not a structural problem.
