Hi, the bike as is is probably worth around £500. If the bike was still original spec then it would have been worth a quite a bit more.

Re:

I’d say between 300-500 depending on the day and how much a buyer wants it. Best way is to stick it on eBay on a £1 listing day with a low start and see where it ends up.

Unfortunately old DH bikes are a bit hard to sell these days. They don’t pedal well and are quite heavy so quite hard to ride far. You need a collector that wants to restore it to its former spec and glory.

Re:

I have someone offering to trade me there original forks for the DH for the ones it has now. Im trying to get the most out of this bike. Do you think its worth chssing parts to get it back to original. I have the xtr derailer set on my intense and the xt on the trek.

Yes, worth trying to get it back to original spec. Old dh bikes are still very sought after and still raced. Quite a few retro dh events these days too. This Trek is as you know, very rare. The only slight thing that will make it harder to sell is the size, but there are plenty of tall people in the world :)

I couldn't find any markings on the forks they almost look like dirt bike forks (sorry new to dh). What do you think it would be worth original? Thanks appreciate the help!

Its hard to say, especially with the size. If it was a medium or other common size and all original spec i would be looking for at least £1000. The thing is, to get it to original spec could be quite costly as it was specced with top end and still desirable kit. Some consolation is the kit on it now looks quite decent so you should get some money for that to help fund the restoration.

There is plenty of info online about them and you may be able to gauge value and desirability from reading through some of that also.
