Rare klein paintjob?

Is that a factory paint option/ What year did they throw those out of the door? Never seen it.

92/93. it was a team paint i think, only 10 or so were made. the owner knows it better and it is in the mtbr.com klein pic thread too.

gossamer is another rare paint from the same era that's not in the catalogs

Wow, never seen any of those before! That paint on the last Adroit reminds me of a Grove. Excellent stuff.

...and I've seen something similar to the Graffiti on another production bike. Was it a Specialized? This is going to bug me.

I remember reading somewhere that you could get what ever paintjob you wanted from Klein if you ordered enough frames (can't remember the required amount).

In addition to Graffiti and Gossamer, there are also other colors that you don't see in the catalogues. Like Pearl Black that is black with red tint and Team Storck which has green MC1 and fork and frame has magenta front fading to metallic violet back.

Mardi Gras and Rain Forest were normal production colors that were offered only in 1993 and officially offered only for Adroits (even though I have seens photos of RF Attitude and MG Pinnacle).

That Adroit Mardi Gras reminds me of old tie-dye T Shirts, or those Hypercolour T Shirts that reacted to body heat

It reminds me of a bad trip.

Actually, how about re-naming some of the designs?

Storm, Mardi Gras etc. They just don't seem to capture the true essence.

How about.

'Car Wreck', 'Bad Trip' and 'I Don't Remember the Sixties'
