Nice update, looks good.

My wife has still not forgiven me for persuading her to sell her 1990 BV around 15 years ago.

One of these days I'll find her another one.

Plans - short term -

maxxis highroller 1.9" with light weight innertubes
seat - duno yet, want something comfier
seatpost - think ill need something with some adjustably to set the seat at the right angle
flat bars - looking at ritchey wcs stuff, or Thomson if my numbers come up
polish up the cranks since i keep failing at it

longerterm -

ive never owned anything xtr or thomson and id like that to change ;)

light weight road front mech
xt cassette 11-32 and lighter chain when current is worn out
xt shifters - need to be 9 speed
matching wheels

ive heard alot of things about these charge spoons, i am looking into them, wondering if i could get brown to work :? do you ride over 20 miles? struggling to get reports off people who ride more than 10 miles with them

I've done a number of 30k off road rides (around 20 miles) with no issues at all.

They are wide enough to be supportive, but are not so padded that they are squashy, if that makes sense.

An alternative is the Madison Flux. I have one on a Yates, as I wanted a black saddle, and the spoon at the time was more of a grey colour. The Flux is the same shape, but possibly has slightly thicker padding.

Very nice mate, though I'm slightly confused by the frame! The decals are mid 90's, but if I recall correctly Marin hardtails didn't have disc mounts until at least 2000. Is the disc mount a later custom addition?
