I have something of a fondness for these bikes as a couple of friends had them, I wanted one but when my dad finally agreed I needed a bigger bike and we went to the bike shop they only had a Sports in stock so that is what I had, I know it was the same bike in black but I did feel slightly disappointed at the time, ungrateful little sod.
I am sure I will buy one eventually or more likely build one to my specification and looking at photos notice that the only Raleigh decal on them appears to be on the chainguard with Wayfarer on the seatpost tube, is this correct?
Finally does anyone know the nearest RAL colour to the dark blue that they came in?
I can feel another project coming, not that I actually need one.
