Raleigh Triathlon Restore or ride.

I posted the beginning of May about a work friend who gave me a 1987 Raleigh Triathlon,The thing was I didn't know if I was just going to bolt the missing parts on and ride or do the bike up, either way It was going to be on a shoe string budget as times a hard.Well I decided to do the bike up and after a few weeks of hard graft Its finished.Its not one for the purists as I didn't want to spray the bike in the original yellow so I decided to go for my own colour scheme.

And here it is.

Looks better in that blue than the original yellow. There was one of these at my local dump a few weeks back in my size. I wasn't brave enough to quickly bung it in the back of the car though.

Nice bike, I hope you bought your mate a pint.

Thanks I like the colour and Ithink Im going to have to buy him quite a few pints to say thank you.I took the bike out the first time today and it all worked faultlesslly, nice ride and not to twitchy.
