Raleigh triathlon 105 all original just found it in shed what have i got ?

Good finds, @Peter#belfast Are any of them your size or suitable for anyone else in your household?

The Orbit looks excellent and ready to ride, Campag shifters and mechs, I think?

This one was on this forum a couple of years ago

Nice bike - very subtle look. A honey brooks saddle and matching bar tape would really look nice on that.

I read that early triathlon bikes had geometries similar to modern road bikes, but that racing bikes back then - particularly in north America - were designed for criteriums (so steep and twitchy?). Anyhow, rebranding an existing sport touring frame for triathlon may have made sense. The seat looks a bit different - wonder if that was part of the tri branding?

Raleigh is 56cm ,gold medal is 52cm ,and helium is 50cm . The two orbits are pretty much like new .the raleigh needs cleaned and the saddle repaired or replaced . If anyone knows of someone who would be intersted or any of you guys would like a new project .

A shame that they don't fit you.

The Raleigh, being a 56cm, will easily sell. Give it a quick clean, take some decent photos and put it on the Road Bikes For Sale section on here. You will need a price in the advert, no idea how much it's worth. I'd leave the saddle as it is, any buyer of the bike will probably put one of their own choice on if they are going to ride it.

The Orbit Gold Medal is really nice, should sell easily, maybe a slightly slower sale as it's 52cm. No idea about the Helium but most things seem to sell eventually.

How did you happen to have these in the shed?
