Don't forget another tenner for the cleats too... And a slap up meal for your friend to come along as stumping up to a strangers house with 1600 quid in your pocket on your own would be quite brave IMHO...

I think the uncertainty of your reception at the vendor’s home adds a frisson of excitement to the trip, for which any mountain biker should only be too happy to pay a premium.

A raleigh ti frame holds no appeal for me.
The parts hung off it are probably worth about £600-700 though. But that makes £800-900 for the frame really hard to justify.
