Selling my Raleigh Special products 853 cross bike.
Frame is Reynolds 851 and was made by Raleigh Special Products. Frame size is 52cm centre to top (48cm centre to centre) and tope tube is also 52cm centre to centre.
I bought the frame second hand last year and had the bike built up at Paul Milnes Cycles in Bradford. Apart from the saddle all the fitted componants were new. I've used the bike last winter for commuting and occassional winter training rides with 700x23 road tyres. Have tried 700x35 cross tyres and plenty of clearance. Really versitile bike but need to clear space / raise funds for next project...
Looking for £250 for a quick sale - and hopefully avoiding ebay! Bike to be collected from Sheffield.
Wheels: Open Pro (black rim)/Veloce Hub on rear, Open Sport black rim/shimano hub front. Conti ultrasport 700x23mm clinchers fitted.
Chainset: Paul Milnes 34/48 compact cross chainset
Gears: Campag Mirage 9-speed ergos, campag avanti front mech, veloce rear mech 9 speed cassette
Brakes: Frog-legg cross canti brakes and tektro bar top cross levers.
