Raleigh RSP? 531 Shimano 300EX

Well it pains me to sell this but I just don't do enough road miles, I confess I am more of a MTB'er and I'd rather someone got some use out of this lovely bike.

I don't know a great deal about it, I was given it by my brother when he bought a new bike a few years back, but spec as follows:


Top tube - 21 1/2" centre to centre
Seat tube - 20 1/2" centre to centre
Has Raleigh Special Products Division stickers both sides?, but I'm having no luck deciphering the serial, which is just a 5 digit number, no letters.

14 Speed
Shimano 300EX groupset, indexed rear shifter.
Sugino cranks - one looks to have a pedal thread insert maybe?? but threads/works perfectly.
Alesa 613 rims
Vuelta saddle - material has come unstuck in a few places
Cro Mo Blades forks.
Michelin dynamic tyres
Sold WITHOUT pedals


As I say, I'm having difficulty pinning down what exact model this is (any help appreciated) so I am going to ask £200 plus postage BUT I am a fair guy and I am open to 'education' on price, but BY PM PLEASE!
I am in St Albans AL4 and would take paypal, but would rather cash on collection or bank transfer.
