It is a cheap and cheerless Suntour mech will work but nothing special, you can get a lot better for only a little outlay.

About the adjuster it is a fair point you make, but lots of friction mechs have adjusters so you can make the shifting sharp and sweet

Hi There
I have a number of Donor bits in Leicester including (I will check) a couple of the original black wheel rims )No spokes or hub as these are going onto my RRS
Again will have to check, they will need a full refurb though
I think what your referring to above is the drailliuers - If so then you need Shimano Golden Arrow for originality, eBay best for this (I used the donor set on my upgrade)

Thank you for the rims offer. We did get a pair of wheels so the bike owner is happy with these. I have mentioned the rear der so we'll how that goes also.
