I tried it up the road and back and felt extremely unsteady. I can’t believe I used to ride this (one like this) no handed, and once at 56mph.

Now it’s going to hang on the ceiling for another 35 years and be someone else’s resto project.

Not 86, 1985. That would seem correct. I was but 15 at Christmas 84, so either got it then or my birthday. No good asking my mother, She can't even remember the time her and Dad came back to the parked car and I wasn't in it, having decided they weren't coming back, I got out and walked over a mile home.
