Hi All, how much is a very good restored 1950 Raleigh Record Ace worth? It has all the original bits on it and has only done 200 or so miles since a full re-build. Thanks

Re:

The late 1940's early 50's RRA is considered one of the best built machines money could buy of its time by collectors . All orginal components are much sought after .Condition is every thing . Price is like everything, finding the right person . £600 and up had been the going rate a few years ago for a complete machine. I have seen RRA pedals fetch £££££
This is an original one.Not mine.

Re:

As bag puss said they can go for very good money. I've seen ones go for close to £1000 on ebay before and for less than £500. I think a lot depends on the originality, paint scheme and what spec it is-ie if it has an asc hub, bluemels noweights and all the original bits and is in the flashier paint/decal scheme then they can go for quite a bit.

That said, if you have a moment of madness and wish split it you can always sell me the cranks and pedals and bluemels no weights as I need them for mine. Do you have any photos?-I'd be interested to see it.
