Wanted Raleigh Rapide rear wheel

I am after a rear wheel with 6 speed cassette for my late 80's early 90's Raleigh Rapide. 700c
My local bike shop had mine to change 2 broken spokes. They told me they could not get cassette off to do spokes. On closer inspection they have broken the spline of the freewheel bit

6 speed will be freewheel not cassette. Cassette freehubs only came in with 7s.
Undo the lockring on the freewheel (it goes CLOCKWISE) driving the little circles with a punch.

Tip the whole lot out - bearing balls, pawls, springs etc. You will then have the screw-on core of the freewheel. Clamp this tightly in a vice and then you can undo it from the wheel.
