Raleigh Rapide. Original paintwork. Top tube and down tube decals were destroyed, so I've replaced them, but the rest are original. Had to find a few parts to finish her off.

Frame: 531 DB main tubes. High tensile stays. Gipiemme forged ends. 24 1/2"
Fork: Raleigh high tensile steel

Headset: Tange CMA60 (I think)
Stem: Sakae
Handlebar: ITM

Brake Levers: Unbranded NOS
Brake Calipers: Weinmann 500
Shifters: Campagnolo
Front Derailleur: Campagnolo 980
Rear Derailleur: Campagnolo 980
Derailleur Cable: Original
Cassette: Sun tour
Cranks: SR Super Custom
Chainrings: 52/42
Bottom Bracket: Tange
Pedals: SR SP-150

Rims: Weinmann 700c
Hubs: Atom small flange
Hub Skewers: Spidel
Tyres: 25C amberwall

Saddle: WTB (must change that)
Seatpost: kalin
Weight: 25lb (Large frame)

Thats very cool, my brother just got a 81 rapide, virtually the same as that but 23.5" fern green. It rides brilliant!

Rusty, the paintwork looks great - who supplied the new decals? I am trying to source the Rapide ones at the moment for this -

I am almost finished.

That will be 3 Rapides on RB!!!!

TGR - Your rapide looks great!
I struggled to get the original decals. HH LLoyds carry the seat tube decal as stock and can do the others as a special, but they were snowed under at the time, so I got the nearest I could off Ebay. I've since scanned the Raleigh in from a Raleigh Competition which is the same decal in another colour and had a guy make it up for me. He did two full sets of downtube and top tube for £10.
