Raleigh Ozark vs Avanti question

There age is, my first ever, proper mountain bike. Where it began for me. Where did it stack up in the hierarchy?

I think it was mid range, they wa expensive at the time, even a standard maverick, was a months wages

guys, what paint options were on the avanti and ozrk

The Ozark had at least three paint schemes. White to red fade, red to black fade and an orange-yellow-white fade which I think was a mid-year scheme before the new bigger lugged rage replaced them.

Avanti - a white to turquoise fade, a black to speckley grey/white, and a yellow/black Team Banana scheme ..... any more?

hmmm, think I might go with the avanti blue to white, might even go maverick pto colours, the black to gold

The headset is 1" and the BB is 68 mm.

got my mk2 Avanti frame n forks now, 126mm wide on inside of rear drop outs and 100mm on front. would I need a hub with 130 or 135mm axle? cheers guys, I'll post a pick this week
