The first of only two bikes I have ever bought new. Bought around '95 as they were selling them off and I had a bit of money at the time, I had recently sold my '93 Kilauea, and the year after I bought a new '96 Kilauea, so only had this for around a year, but the memories of how well it rode for a cheap bike stay with me.
This came up for sale a short while back, a size larger than I had bitd but I have been thinking of building a simple touring bike up lately. I have plenty of frames I could have used but this was cheap enough and brought back fond memories so grabbed it.
The build itself is not going to be anything special, nor will it be until my shoulder has healed a bit more, posted now to remind me as another frame has taken over the stand so this now sits by patiently.
