Raleigh m-trax titanium 1000 headset size

Boulderholder

Retro Newbie
Hi, I’m considering buying this (attached) bike. It looks like it’s in good shape, but needs new shifters, qr for wheel, poss chain, chainset, headset and cables.

Does anyone know what size headset this would be, I would assume 1,1/8, however I’ve been wrong before.

Also, bikes are weird to value at the moment.. what would be the going price for one of these? Cheers

Welcome to the site.
When I first joined on here I was given one of these frames for free! That being said- they are decent bikes. I had the top of the range model ti 3000 back in the 90's.
If it really needs all the stuff fixing or replacing as you suggest then I'd say that if you can get it for £50 you have done ok. They only seem to fetch £100+ fully working. Hope that helps.
