I just got this M-Trax 1000 very cheap and I'm working on it at the moment. It runs fine and and is a great everyday bomber.
M-Trax were bonded but I can assure you this is not bonded and it does not say so in the 1995 catalog but does say so for the more expensive models. The teal green on the top tube and down tube carries on under the silver paintwork! This gives the impression of bonded tubes. It's still great and I'm going to put yellow cable housing, hand grips, pedals and brake shoes on it.
I have 2 more M-Trax which are indeed bonded and a Dyna-Tech Encounter! Great bikes that look super cool.
