Can anyone tell me what frame model this is ?
I believe it’s a 1986 from the frame number but could be wrong

I’ve just painted this today after a good clean in the sand blasting cabin
It has just been rattle canned as it’s going to be a winter bike with guards
I am going to run Shimano 600 on this

Yes decals ordered copy team bike but I’m happy if it’s not true just for my winter bike

I have another Raleigh frame away atm getting painted professionally

Trying to think of the tourer that had mudguard eyes and the Raleigh panto on the seat stay caps, Grenada?

I am struggling to put any type of name on it !!
But I am now going to make my own team Raleigh winter bike
Just for the purists 😁

Possibly the model 8806 training frame from around 1987. Had a sky blue front half, white rear

Thanks VC yes i have ordered a set from Lloyds and they have arrived, i am just waiting for my competition framehttps://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/raleigh-competition.453876/ to come back for those to go on.

As for this frame i dont intend to be as accurate !!:p

As your building a team replica and also having a professional restoration you may find this guide useful regarding getting the correct decals which are available from H Lloyd Cycles... nothing else comes close 👍
