I will sell this in a few weeks. Want to finish the build im working on with it before I do so . Watch this space and Dibs here pls. Then send a PM
NB. If a ‘dibbed’ pulls out then it’s offered to
The next - BUT if someone offers to buy the complete bike they’ll get priority and a small deposit will secure it for them.
I’m currently finishing the build - I want to take some pictures and put it up against the lovely Torus XT build which will be in December BoTm. If it wins the buyer gets a can of Tenants Super to go with it !
Once that’s done I’ll bid it goodbye - BUT I want it to go to someone who’ll cherish this - not abuse it. These are very rare - I’ve no idea how Many were made, but it’s history and lineage and fact that this was a Limited Edition means it’s even more precious.
I’ve seen many Mk II Trimmel forked bikes - nearly all of them Torus - I’ve only ever seen this Decade with Mk I forks and one other on Retrobike.
It’s wonderfully light - noticeably lighter than my Bianchi Ti Reparto Corse.
So £450 is a bargain and £850 for the complete build is a bargain. If this were a mass produced aluminium American made bike with garish colours it’d have been worth a lot
