Raleigh Dynaflite SBDU 753.... 'Manager Special'

next question ....
with radial spoking, should the spokes be laced from inside to out or outside to in?
Oh no..not another massive can of worms, I've got system overload reading and watching wheel building films my head is about to explode..pass me the Gin & Valium..🤣

A couple of parts missing when i got the bike home was the ⅛ chain and the Sturmey Archer cable clamps that attach to the toggle thingy's, so along with the 10mm Velox Rim Tape i need to put an order in from SJS Cycles. As most of the chain is hidden by the very sexy Campagnolo 'Trouser Guard'.. the burning question is do I go for a 'Goldie Looking Chain' or just a 'Plain Jane' brown one..??

When I saw the first pictures of the frame and complete bike on eBay I knew it was something very special... Mike Mullet mentioned that a Dynaflite was built for the Chairman and Managing Director of Raleigh along with two others, these were the pre-production unnumbered prototype's built by the Specialist Bicycle Development Unit at Raleigh...

Only has a quick blast up the road to test the shifting but first impressions is it feels very quick and with a 100 inch top I think I'm going to be running out of gears. Will get out for a proper ride and a speed test on my 2 mile TT course before fitting the mudguards. Still got to clean and regrease the pedals and tidy the cables though I'm quite liking the hot rod look with 5 speed colume shift and no muddies...
