Raleigh Dyna Tech appreciation and information thread

Is there a Serial Number resource for the dynatechs? I picked up what I think I have identified at a 1994 dynatech torus based on photos from this forum.... very thankful for that. but I need to find out what size seatpost I need. Someone wrinkled the seat tube a tad and now it measures 30mm which seems to be fairly uncommon. Was it supposed to be 31.6mm for the seatpost? I will try to figure out how to post pics this weekend for additional input perhaps.

30mm, or 28mm if shimmed.

Best to use a shim as the seat tubes can crack around the insertion point
