Re:

I love these bikes. I'm addicted to the bonded frame malarky! This is my collection.
I've an M-Trax 600 from 1992, M-Trax 1000 K2 from 1995 and the 1990 Encounter is under construction. I also have the Dyna-Tach 400 road bike.

Re:

Hi, about 6 months ago I bought a Dynatech 700. Shimano Tricolour 600 throughout. I love it, it's a seriously quick bike and gasps become my go to for my commute. However, where the seat stay is joined to the seat post by an 'Allen bolt' of some sort there seems to be a bit of play. The bolt heads seem to be rounded out. So I have a couple of questions? Is this an Allen bolt or some other sort of fixing? Can it be tightened? Could it be drilled out and replaced? Thanks

Oh man I want one of these now... there is a Lovely one for sale right now on eBay and I’m sorely tempted!

Hold tight as nice ones do come up... I bagged this off ebay about 2 weeks ago, frame is absolute MINTER, barely a mark on it! It had quite a few upgrades by former owner who had it from new.
