Hi does anybody have any info, knowledge of the Raleigh Comando bike?

It was a contemporary of the Chopper Mk 2 - had a kind of military look and a frame not unlike a Raleigh 20. Nice chrome chainguard and mudguards, big padded saddle and risers. Fattish tyres. Dark green and 3 speed with twist shifters. About 74-76ish.
I'd quite like a grown up version

Same frame design as the 20 but smaller and lacks the bracing between the BB and the downtube. Came after the Chopper but before the Grifter.

Despite appearances, the saddle was rock hard LOL

I was obviously born to early. If I had been a young lad in the early 70's I would probably have been pestering my Dad for one.

And after a few months, swopped it for a racer 'cos it was bl**dy awful to ride!
