I used to have a Raleigh MTB I bought in I think 2002 from Allen's Cycles in Barnsley.
It was an overvsized Alu HT framed Raleigh MTB with some very good components.
I remember it had Magura Julie Disks, a decent I think Rock Shox up front, riser bars and some XT kit - I don't remember much about it as it was stolen very soon afterwards when someone broke into my sisters garage and nicked it.
I had a look at Raleigh USA catalogues from that period at Bikepedia and I'm sure in many ways it resembles the Raleigh M800 from 2001 - but I am not sure whether Allen's Cycles would've sold USA made Raleigh bikes.
So if anyone has a Raleigh UK Catalogue scan or something from 2001/2002 or could enlighten me I'd most appreciate it - or if anyone recalls any such bike.
As a side note, were the Raleigh USA Bikes made in USA fr0m this period?
