Please could someone help me identifying my son's old bike? As he now lives abroad he has asked me to sell it. It is a Raleigh with Sachs Huret and Weinmann type 730 parts. I've no idea how old it is and cannot find a serial number on the frame. It definitely needs refurbishing! Many thanks.

The model is called "The Winner". An internet search will give you an idea of its worth.
I am not familiar with it, but by the looks of it it was an entry level model.
As to the date, my guess would be around 1980, but for a closer estimate you can check the date codes on the back of the Weinmann brake calipers.
