Am I right in thinking it’s a 531 frame, Nitto bars and stem, Ground Control tyres and mostly XT kit? Hard to tell from the photos but the kit does look like XT.

That’s a much better photo than I can see on my phone!

I remember seeing one of these back in the day. Was very out of my reach, well my parents reach, don’t think I had my own means at that age! What a beauty.

I'm on the laptop so was able to zoom in and save it. Looks to be in lovely condition.





I couldn't stretch to the Avanti but felt fortunate to have the, bottom of the "Lightweight" range, Chinook

That looks in very good condition. If anyone gets it for near to the estimate they should be a very happy retrobiker.

Good looking bike, even though it’s a big frame. If you’re local to Darlington then definitely worth a shot. Auction ends on 25th.
