turnip

to be honest i know the frame is not good but tha parts are and was thinking of stripping the frame and selling the parts but need a date for them.

the quote a turnip tells me nothing

hi ya g, i think the turnip was for the whole bike, the parts arent great to tell you the truth , dont be fooled coz they say shimano, Altus is very much entry level, and are probably best kept with the bike.

I would say £25 on the bay because it looks to be in good condition ;)

Exactly which parts are good on an Altus group? If you strip that bike then all you'll end up with are several piles of crap rather than just one. A turnip is a fair value for that, sell it as a whole or give it one of those African bike charities.

The parts are pretty much really really low entry level to a point if you put them all together on ebay at 99pence..you probably will still have them at the end of the sale

The value of this bike would be roughly anything between £5 and £25 complete if everything runs as it should... if anything needs adjustment it will be worth even less ....retro value? sorry but it has none

More likely to appeal to a student for college/uni or someone wanting a cheap bike for work/pub hack

Ebay seems silly at the momment being summer so I would try your luck there ....ebay completed seems to show some haven't sold..one went for £88  but an average of around £40 if and when they have sold..deduct any paypal charges and ebay 10% fee your looking around £30-£35 all done..if it sells

Possibly then fixed price on gumtree/local press. it's a good condition cheap end bike and nothing more

Sorry thats not the answer your looking for but that's pretty much as straight as I can be

thanks for putting a year to it i did have around that year in mind and i know its a cheapo bike and not worth much but to find it in its original condition made me laugh and makes me wonder how many higher end range bikes have been locked away for years in someones garage and waiting to be discovered.

cheers gaz...
