Retro Newbie
Hi All,
When I posted about my Holdsworth Elan, I did not mention my other old racer a Raleigh 853 with some unusual history it has no frame number and came from the special projects bit of Raleigh.
I know this as underneath the bottom bracket it is stamped R Moore and was made for Richard Moore.
It's a big frame and in winter 2009 I stripped it back to bare metal for a respray (Yellow), got hooded levers, dura-ace downtube levers, Chorus 175mm chainset and shimano 600 rear mech. Essentially it is a mix of bits I had lying around. Have used it to time-trial with Spinergy Rev-X + tubs.
Thought you retro fans might find that interesting.
