Raleigh 531 SBDU 25 inch gentle fettle.

So you are saying cleaner than this -

Oddly, I had to clean the floor and my tools every time i moved it!!

Er, just slightly.

Anyway. Send me something. Don't need pedals anymore. Bought some last night.

Offer via PM?

As an '87 I really think this needs the grey 105 setup and aero levers, but that's just me. It's a similar frame to my Quadra which is a decent ride but not in as nice condition as this. I do like these old Raleighs though.

There you go.

I think so, it's just something about the clean lines of the aero levers that makes the bikes from this era look fast stood still.

Apologies for jumping in here - has anyone idea of how much a NOS NIB Quadra would be? I know a guy, who knows a guy, who seems to know a guy who might have a couple of NOS NIB unbuilt Quadras in a supposed shed.

Mr History - when the cat is away .....

Don't do anything too stressful (and i am serious).

I would say going by a couple of mint looking examples that sold on here for about £300, that these if they are the series II 14 speed should be worth £350-£400 as NiB, I would value the older series I 12 speed at slightly less.

THM take it easy this weekend.

Carl.
