Raleigh 450 Elite

Hi
I’d like a bit of help if possible. I’ve been riding a Raleigh 450 Elite for a year or so that I found in the shed. I’v just starting cycling for fitness at 61 and got a bike more suitable for me. I was going to scrap the Raleigh that has all the original parts except handle bars and seat.
Does anyone know if it’s worth selling or hanging on to please and who to contact please. Thanks

Rides perfect, good condition for nearly 30 years old.

Very nice.
As it's not my size and I'm not in the market for buying so I'll offer a value (which others should certainly correct/comment on if out). The bike selling market is pretty poor at present as I'm sure you're aware. Assuming all in good condition (frame, wheels, bearings, forks, seatpost free etc)....
On here, to an enthusiast iro £250-325
Facebook possibly a little more if on an M-Trax / Torus / Dyna-Tech group.
eBay, start at £350 and be prepared for a wait or to accept offers below.

Hopefully all a better proposition than scrapping!

It's a nice bunch on here so if you prefer dealing with nice people over the last penny you could offer on here in the pre98 (it's a 97 model) for sale section and hopefully everyone gets a good deal/experience.
