Very nice.
As it's not my size and I'm not in the market for buying so I'll offer a value (which others should certainly correct/comment on if out). The bike selling market is pretty poor at present as I'm sure you're aware. Assuming all in good condition (frame, wheels, bearings, forks, seatpost free etc)....
On here, to an enthusiast iro £250-325
Facebook possibly a little more if on an M-Trax / Torus / Dyna-Tech group.
eBay, start at £350 and be prepared for a wait or to accept offers below.

Hopefully all a better proposition than scrapping!

It's a nice bunch on here so if you prefer dealing with nice people over the last penny you could offer on here in the pre98 (it's a 97 model) for sale section and hopefully everyone gets a good deal/experience.

A complete side on photo would have been helpful to gauge overall condition.
Size looks to be 16" - as they came in 16" 18" and 20".

Yes, the rear monostay length certainly seems to suggest 16" to my gammy eye!
