You can't really decode those serials I'm afraid.

Can you work out what the original colour was under the respray?

I think the original colour is 'Titanium' from 1992.
It looks very similar. Initially I thought all the missing pink/blue paint chips showed alloy underneath, but its darker, surrounds the RTS-2 decal and has its own chips down to alloy.

Not sure if that colour was available over other years.

Yes, that's the same model I had back in 92. I'd never say the colour was titanium though, it was a weird choice, metallic beige is more how I remember it. Or bronze.
