I have for sale my Ragley Blue Pig mk1 18" frame in black and a pair of Manitou Nixon Elite 140mm coil forks with a 20mm axle.
This has been my second AM/Enduro bike and it rides amazingly well, very stable on the fast/steep downs due to the long wheelbase and slack head angle. It climbs very well too, but is more about having fun on the downs. I'm only selling it due to buying a Blue Pig mk3 frame and a pair of Lyriks.
The frame is in good used condition, but has a few scratches here and there. No cracks or dents and comes with all the cable routing hardware, an FSA orbit extreme headset and seat post and clamp. Excellent quality frame with triple butted hand welded 4130 tubes; the welds look a lot better than on the newer frame. I don't really want to part with it but needs must!
The forks are Manitou Nixon Elite 140mm travel, coil sprung and proper shim stack dampers. When I bought these a couple of years a go I stripped them down, removed the old seals and rubbed down the lowers and painted them in silver with a layer of lacquer. It's not a professional job but they look good for it and the lacquer is tough. I then fitted a set of Rockshox samurai seals as these are much better than ones Manitou fit. I also altered the compression shim stack to add a short LSC pyramid and they were built back up with quality fully synth oils.
These are a very smooth pair of forks and the blow the old Pike MoCo forks that they replaced out of the water!! These are a far better fork, especially when pushing on as the damper unit works far better than a MoCo ever will. The damping adjusters work as they should and offer a wide range of adjustment. However 'rapid travel wind down' adjuster on the coil (like U turn) isn't the best, it works but isn't very smooth. No matter though as I just left them at full travel which is perfect for the 'Pig. The steerer is 200mm long. Very good condition, but have some scratches and marks from use and a couple of very small knicks in the stanchions. I've always used care when tightening the axle, as the clamp areas of these can crack through over-tightening.
I'd sooner sell as a package so for frame, forks and the hardware I'll take £160 posted.
Frame only £100 posted
Forks only £80 posted
I'm in Shrewsbury if you'd like to collect.
Thanks,
Richard
