I've read everything I can find. "EASY" is what I understood, not what I'm experiencing.

Any idea how to remove the bearings and outboard spacers off without destroying things? 20240910_170242.jpg

Now I've done this, let me think, pretty sure I cut the rings off... 😂

Then bailed on it.

What I probably should have done it heat the rings and see if they slide off. After that it's easier. But no idea if it'll work and not damage anything.

I will check at some point (busy at the moment) to see if I actually fixed on properly. I remember so thing like that on a second one (about 10 or so years ago)

Guess pushing grease through hasn't worked and it's still gritty?

Erm, got a few good question.
Aitherthin I'd need to check, iirc dubl row, grease injection ports.and...err.

To be fair the instructions just say easy to replace and to do so when greasing no longer works. (it in the archive).

My guess then, if the bearings are replaceable, it's that it's cartridges.

In that case you should be able to tap the axle out (protect the end with the bolt) and it will push the offside bearing out while pushing through the alloy spacers on the working side.

If its not cartridges then you can't really make it better anyway

On the outside you have 2 crank stoppers (short AL pieces) the next is the double row bearings. Then the black center piece.

In theory it's all removable.

The crank stoppers won't budge.

I've regreased the bearings and one is getting crunchy, hence the reason for the attempted rebuild. Have replacement bearings.

Lol, yeah I can see how you got to that point. I want far off and decided to put things in a bag and hope for directions. I've got a friend who can machine new stoppers but that seems like a lot of effort just to get a ti BB back in action.

Thinking maybe drilling a few holes in the sides of the black center spacer to make room for a punch and see if I can't get some movement.
